i'm actually quite stoned.. but for some reason i don't feel like sleeping, just yet. I'm used to falling asleep on the phone but babyboy starts work tomorrow so i'm gonna have to get used to this. haha! Speaking of which, wahhhhh uncle's job is verryyy glamourous! OK after my previous job from hell ( when i was an auditANT - courtesy of a certain someone ;) private joke guyssss haha. ) every other non finance job goes down on my wowww list. But Shawn's media corp job, with the high and mighty sounding title and extremely perky perks, really is a damn good deal! yayyyy three cheers for prawn!! He's finally gotten the break he deserves! He's gonna join 'em and impress them and rise to the top and guess what i'm gonna be doing? sitting at home and shaking legs being a tai tai. :D haha ok ok, so i was told it was ok to dream sometimes.. AND JOKE! *mumbles under breath* just to clarify, the boy IS gonna rise to the top, i was only joking about the shaking legs bit :)
Anywaysssssss. I'm still jobless (my petshop job doesnt count for anything according to the parents, hmmph) which means i'm also penniless. bleaugh. It sucks having to watch my spending this much.. I havent shopped in ages, which is ok coz i dont' go out much and i have tons of clothes i still havent worn and i'm actually tired even thinking of the whole shopping process. :) we really have a convert, don't we. Plus, with no pun intended, being even more plus sized than i used to be, shopping would be a tad bit more depressing than it already is. :( I'm so free i know, and although i have more time these days to go to the gym, i seem to find more time to enjoy yummy food instead. tsk, i'm sucha retard la. Its ok, i've scared myself into returning to the freak gym lifestyle i used to live once (although it does more for my mind than body, sigh) so i hope i stick to it! And i really have to learn to say no to all the grease in the world. why does good food have to come with so much baggage, literally. ARRGGHH!
Sho's bday just passed. My new found policy in life, is to settle bday presents on the bday itself! and so far, i've stuck to my word! *big grin* Sho's bday was celebrated in PS cafe (go read ragi's blog for the lowdown on the place, prices and all ;) ) and we got her a warehouse bag which she had been eyeing. It was a nice dinner, complete with gorgeous ambience and all, and im glad we tried something different rather than the traditional TCC or sticking to familiar territories like the quays. Although Dempsey is like a maze, which we circled like a million times before standing right infront of PS cafe still wondering where the damn place was, it's so neatly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard road- which makes it so centralised yet exclusive. And some of the eateries in there look like they're fit to serve the king, which simply means that i've gotta try it.. someday. :) Nice place, and to think my father thought Dempsey only consisted of Samy's curry and Long Beach Seafood restraunt. Sigh, these old men and their cluelessness. Tsk. :)
Ahhh i feel the tiredness kicking in.. Went to work today, so i'm allowed to be mention that i'm tired. These days, when the world is aware of your lack of employment, the dirty stares that come your way when you even breathe a word of being anything but a bundle of energy, is enough to make me think more than twice before i say anything to that effect. But since i went to work today, i'm ALLOWED! Hah, tomorrow is a whole different story though, thank god. I'm gonna aim to do some zoo stuff in the morning, gym in the afternoon and hopefully meet the Mediacorp star when he's done with his first day of work! Yay,sounds good! night everyone!
